Allow admins and above to edit/customize rulesets (let us choose which stages are legal)

With the limited rule set options it can be very difficult and frustrating for T.O.'s to implement their very own rule set instead of having to be forced to used to already existing ones (such as choosing which stages are legal, the striking process, and how many stages the winner can ban). It'd be nice to have the option to decide how striking works instead of being confined to a specific stage list and striking process.

Custom Stagelist Setup for Smash Ultimate

With how frequently new stages are being added to Ultimate, it's clear that smash.gg's protocol of arbitrarily deciding which stagelists to coordinate with it's stage striking/banning/counterpicking functions is always going to be behind and too slow to adapt. Why can it not be the case where, for TOs setting up a bracket, at the event creation page they're given a choice to select a) the number of legal stages (hell, make it limited to 5-9 possible stages if it's too much of an ask) and then b) to literally just tick off boxes with the names of each stage currently in the game to then make a stagelist from (and then divide into starter/counterpick designations). I'm tired of being forced to use other TO's stagelists in order to give players the ease of access for the striking/banning/counterpicking functionality, and the alternative is a non-functional format that leaves players far too confused (especially without certain features, like RPS, within the site tied to the chat window).

great idea.

Please, especially as Smash Bros Ultimate continues to add new stages, the ability to make a default 5, 7 or 9 stage setup with custom entry fields is crucial.

This needs to be added. The entire Melee community is running tournaments using Slippi 2, which only has frozen Pokemon Stadium, and so it's used as a starter and FD as a counterpick. But with the current Smash.gg system, it's impossible to set the ruleset that way, so either the players have to come to an agreement that FD and Pokemon are switched in the game striking process, or the TOs set it to a custom ruleset and then the players have to figure out who strikes first when you can't do RPS online, as well as many other issues it creates.
It's also Important to do with Ultimate, as there's still no universal ruleset, and with stages like FoD getting updated to be less laggy, Small Battlefield getting added, and new DLC stages on the way, it's impossible to tell what rulesets people are going to want to use.
It could be very easy to implement as well, while you're adding the event and select custom ruleset, it can just ask what the starting and counterpick stages are. Then, assuming that all rulesets are going to have 5 starting stages, you can still just use the randomized 1-2-1 striking system, and that'd be it.

I agree with this as well. Sometimes relying on people to ban/strike in chat is slower than when the system is there

Would be very helpful and useful.

This is not on the immediate roadmap, but it is something we want to support in the future!
