Allow users to manually order phases in Bracket Setup

Since the acquisition by Microsoft some priorities have changed. In an effort to be transparent I'm moving this off of "in progress" since it's not actively being worked on, but is currently in our backlog for future development.

This would be great for me too. I'm doing a free for all game, and it was listed: Pools, Top 3, Top 8 which didn't make sense. I had to delete the phases and start over with the correct order

YoshiUchiha: Wait can you be more specific on this? Did you create the phases in the correct order and then they got reordered?

gg | Justin: No. I'm just thinking that it would be a nice feature to be able to reorder phases if there are a lot of people that register on-site. Since there is no option for pools in a FFA event, I labeled each phase as a different pool. If, for example, I needed to create another pool because too many people signed up, I'd have to go back, delete top 3, delete top 8, and create the new pool, and remake the phases I deleted.

We are currently working on the logic regarding Amateur progressions, meaning those phases will appear in the "correct" order.

Just to be clear, this is requesting just the reordering of phases on that one specific page?

gg | Justin: The changes done in Bracket Setup would reflect in the tournament and Event page, so that tournaments with multiple phases (ex: Pools to Amateur/Division 3, Intermediate/Division 2, and Top X/Division 1) have the correct order of phases, from top to bottom, bottom most often being the phased used for the event standings. In my case, I get Pools, then Top 16, then Amateur then Intermediate, which makes no sense.
gg | Justin
Storm: Assuming phases with amateur progressions were ordered correctly, is there any other use case where you'd want to re-order phases?
S
Storm
gg | Justin: If you mean besides any tournament with advanced progression and multiple phases, no, it's mainly that once advanced progressions are used, stuff like the order of the phases are off and sometimes the standings use the wrong phase.
gg | Justin
Storm: So it sounds like the _real_ ticket here is "correctly order phases with amateur progressions", correct?
S
Storm
gg | Justin: Yes, I suggested either that the system would be able to order them either based on player standings from the pool or that users would be manually able to do that. A staff member then added the latter as a suggestion.
