I need the ability to create a tournament where 4 players participate in each match but they are not in teams, it is FFA and the top two move on to the next stage of the tournament, and the bottom two go to losers

I support this feature. Currently the FFA is lacking a few parameters that are easy to add.

Having a loser bracket has the OP said, were we can state how many player we want to progress there. Currently we only have a winner side, up to N players ( depending on how we set up the FFA ).
Having the ability to have "last chance" for people that lost but we still have slot for them in the next stage. Example given: 12 players, 4 player FFA 1v1v1v1 : 3 round per stage. The first of each round goes to next stage, and the best 2nd in terms of GP points completes them. Thus the final stage by all 3 winners + 1 that was the best 2nd. Ensuring a final stage with 4 players instead of currently limited 3 players.
Being able to move around players in rounds. Currently we have to rely on "magically" changing seed to have desired players on one specific round.
